Event Overview

Eastern Electrics (EE) will be returning to Lee Valley Showground in 2023 for its third year. The event is well-established and has been running for over 10 years at various venues across London. EE is a longstanding house music brand that has been organising electronic music events since 2010.

The 2023 event will feature 5 music stages with performances from an impressive range of DJs and Live Acts. We hope for 2023 the maximum event capacity of the event will be 20,000 on Saturday 26th August 2023. The event is open to ticket holders from 12:00 until 22:00.

Access to Lee Valley Showground

To ensure the safety of the local residents, park users, spectators and contractors alike, the event site at Lee Valley Showground will not be accessible to the public at the following times:

  • Friday 18th August – Thursday 31st August.

Security teams are onsite 24/7 over the duration of the build, live and break periods. The wider Lee Valley Country Park will remain open.

Resident Tickets Community Information
Limited resident’s tickets are available for all shows on a first come, first served basis. If you have a medical disability and require a carer to attend the event with you the promoter will provide a carer ticket. To apply for tickets email community@columbostar.com with proof of address showing your full name and address in the same documentWe understand that you will want to contact us about our plans prior to the events. Traffic Management

Main Road Closures

The A121 will be closed from Waltham Cross roundabout to Highbridge Retail Park for eastbound traffic. The road closure will be in place the following dates and times:

Saturday 26th from 00:00 – 05:00 and 20:00 – 01:00 Sunday 27th August 20:00 – 01:00

There will be yellow diversion signage in place on the route, there will be two options for diversion:

(1) Use the M25 junction 26 to get to Waltham Abbey

(2) follow signs south towards Ponders End station, cross the marshes and head north back on the A112 towards the Highbridge Retail Park.

Bus Stop Suspension

A temporary closure of the Queensway and Lea Road bus stops on the A121 has been applied for in order due to installation of barrier impeding regular use of these bus stops. The suspension will run from 0000 Saturday 27th to 0100 Monday 29th. This means the bus stop will not be in use all day Saturday and Sunday.

Cycle Lane Suspension

To maintain a safe walking route for pedestrians the cycle path on the A121 from Waltham Cross roundabout to Highbridge Retail Park will be suspended.

Parking Suspension

To operate certain measures in this plan certain parking bays will need to be suspended

  • 5 bays on Trust Road / Station Approach
  • Drop Off area at Theobalds Grove station

Resident Access Closures

The following roads will be affected:

  • Beaulieu Drive
  • Hazelmere Marina
  • Eleanor Road
  • Fishers Green Lane
  • Trust Road

Residents who require access to these roads will receive another letter closer to the event date. This will include your Resident Parking Permit. This will gain you access to your road during the live event.
